In July 2026, the FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee met to review whether several peptides, including BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Semax, Epitalon, and emideltide (DSIP), should be eligible for compounding by pharmacies.
The committee advises the FDA on which substances may be used by compounding pharmacies. Its recommendations are not binding. The FDA must still review them and complete a formal rulemaking process with public comment before anything changes.
